Finding an unlikely middle point between hostile electro-rock, rap, and a package of glitch-hop, grime, dubstep & disco, OBTAIN has been slowly building a devoted following.
Formed in the summer of 2008, OBTAIN’s first show was at the All Points West Music Festival in New Jersey opening for the glitch master Kraddy with the Do Lab. They are gearing up to start the festival season in Europe starting this summer.
OBTAIN’s unique sound is forged between strong dubstep, electro and heavy rock and rap influences.
OBTAIN has collaborations with Juice Lee (Knack For Rhymin’ and Let ‘Em Know), Celeste Lear (Satisfaction and I Can’t Explain), and Cadalack Ron (Face The Facts) among others.
With two feet firmly planted in punk rock’s influential past, and two in dance music’s future, OBTAIN is set to make their mark.
